Welcome. I’ve set up this site to host information about radiation therapy (written from a medical physics point of view) and software that I’ve developed as part of my research work; along with some miscellaneous personal content.
I’m a medical physicist currently employed at the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital, which has the largest radiation oncology treatment department in the state of Queensland, Australia. I was previously employed as a post-doctoral research fellow at the Queensland University of Technology. My Ph.D. in medical physics was conferred in 2011 – following a double degree in Applied Science, majoring in Physics (with honours) and Information Technology.
The site is very much a work in progress, and it is likely to continue being so for the foreseeable future (probably forever).
